Welcome to the Tissue Array Network service information page. We are the premier providers of Tissue Microarrays and their related custom service. Our goal is to provide you the very best in Immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining and in Situ Hybridization (ISH).
Our quality control standards are high. Our technicians are among the best skillful scientists in the fields. Our goal is always to deliver top service. Your satisfaction is of paramount importance.
Below is a short list of the services we offer:
A. Immunohistochemistry (IHC) & In Situ hybridization (ISH) or FISH
Immunohistochemistry is a technique for identifying cellular or tissue antigens through antigen-antibody interactions, the site of antibody binding being identified either by direct labeling of the antibody, or by secondary labeling method, while In Situ Hybridization techniques allow the demonstration of specific nucleic acid sequences (genes) in their cellular environment. IHC and ISH are needed to localize the protein/gene of interest by using customer-supplied probes either antibody-based or DNA fragments, RNA or oligo-based against selected normal and diseased human tissue from our tissue microarray bank. The results are presented as a publishable, detailed pathology report including high-resolution digital photographs.
B. Custom Tissue Paraffin Block and Tissue Array Development
Tissue paraffin block is a sample of tissue that has been fixed in formalin, processed to remove water, and then infused with melted paraffin, which is allowed to harden within and around the tissue in a square mold. This is the standard method of preparing tissue for clinical histological analysis. The paraffin block is subsequently cut on a microtome to produce thin histological sections which are placed on glass slides to be further evaluated by pathologists or researchers. In the manufacture of TMAs, these become the donor blocks.
Tissue Microarray develops custom tissue paraffin blocks. Interested researchers will collect tissue specimen from their independent experiments and fixed them in freshly prepared 10% formaldehyde in phosphate buffer. We will provide the further process including paraffin embedding, sectioning, staining, histopathology evaluation and diagnosis. In addition to development of paraffin blocks, Tissue MicroArray histo-pathologist will map histopathology data with individual tissue specimen and design array format or panel for further studies.
